Hailing out of East Harlem N.Y. , Kadeem King, has been writing music since the age of 13. While pursuing a career in basketball Kadeem landed an athletic scholarship to St. Thomas Aquinas College in Sparkill, N.Y.. From producing beats in his spare time in his dorm room to writing songs on the team bus en-route to big games, it was only a matter of time before Kadeem left school to pursue music professionally. In 2009, Kadeem formed "TheREBpublic" (Rebel Republic) a movement standing for originals who rebel against the ordinary. TheREBpublic is a reflect of the morals by which he lives his life. Kadeem is most known for his distinct voice, lyrical ability and songwriting. He's blessed the stages of New York's most prominent venue's such as SOB's, Highline Ballroom and Webster Hall displaying his smooth swagger yet raw and hungry stage presence. Since the release of his project "LEADAH" in December 2014 and "LEADAH 2" in October 2017, Kadeem has went on to appear on MTV, BET Jams, as well as The Source and numerous other media outlets as an "Artist to Watch". Kadeem has worked with the likes of Ma$e, Grammy Award winning Producers Cool & Dre, Jerry Wonder and many more. With all that Kadeem has accomplished in a short time he is destined to become one of New York's most prominent Emcees.
